  6. What type of tissue always has a matrix? Conenctive: cells scattered through extracellular matrix, e.g. plasma in blood, calcium/collagen in bone, chondroitin sulfate in cartilage.

  8. Name a structure of the body that has dense fibrous connective tissue. Tendons (muscle to bone). Ligaments (bone to bone)
