Biodiversity can be measured at
   three levels:

<Li> Genetic   diversity:   genetic   variation   within   and  between
populations.
<Li> Species  diversity:  diversity  of  species  in  an  ecosystem, as
measured by species richness and relative abundance.
<Li> Ecosystem  diversity: variety of communities and ecosystems in the
biome or biosphere.
